Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) has been one of the best things that has ever happened to me. An institution where laziness has no room. This actually pushed me to achieve my best result as the best graduating student in my class, with First Class. The school is equipped with various resources to help students. I can recollect when I was at my ebb and struggling financially to balance school fees; the school aided me, and I was able to come out of it.
View moreThis is a university that teaches all kind of courses , both science , commercial and Art located in ogun state Nigeria..OOU is a well respected state university with a strong foundation, especially in Ogun State and southwestern Nigeria. It offers a conducive atmosphere for learning, steadily improving infrastructure, and a culture of excellence. At the same time, it still faces common challenges of public universities in Nigeria: funding, infrastructure gaps, administrative efficiency, and ensuring that student support keeps pace with academic demands.
If I had to give it a rating out of 10, considering its strengths and weaknesses, I’d place it around 7.5/10 solid, with room for growth, particularly in infrastructure, student support, and international prominence.
View moreStudying Estate Management at Olabisi Onabanjo University has been a rewarding experience overall. The program provides a solid foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of the field, and I have gained valuable knowledge that I believe will be useful in my career. Many of the lecturers are knowledgeable and committed to their students’ growth, and I appreciate the effort they put into making classes engaging and relevant.
What I like most about the university is the sense of community among students and the exposure to real estate practice through projects and fieldwork. The campus environment also encourages learning and personal development.
On the other hand, I think the university could improve in areas such as facilities, access to updated learning materials, and sometimes the pace of administrative processes. These areas, if addressed, would make the student experience even better.
Overall, I would recommend Olabisi Onabanjo University to future students who are interested in Estate Management. It is a program that challenges you academically while also preparing you for the professional world.
