Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) was more than just a school for me—it was home. The campus felt safe; I could walk to night classes without worry, and the library became my go-to spot for peace and focus. I never faced lecturer harassment, and the strong student union made sure our voices mattered. One thing that stood out was the number of hostels—OAU has way more than most public universities in Nigeria. While bed spaces were still competitive, I was lucky to live on campus all five years, which made everything so much easier. And let’s not forget the beauty of the place—those iconic buildings and green spaces truly make it Africa’s most beautiful campus. OAU gave me a solid foundation, and I’ll always be proud to call it my alma mater. Great Ife forever!
