Federal Polytechnic Nekede is one of the top polytechnics in Nigeria, and my experience there has been both educational and rewarding. What stood out to me the most was the balance between academic learning and campus life.

The lecturers and professors are knowledgeable and approachable. Many of them bring practical, real-world experience into the classroom, which makes the lessons more engaging and easier to apply beyond school. I appreciated how they encouraged students to ask questions, participate in discussions, and take our coursework seriously.

The classes are structured to give students both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills. For anyone looking to build a solid career foundation, the programs are practical and well-aligned with industry demands.

Campus life is also vibrant. Federal Polytechnic Nekede has a diverse student body, so you get to meet people from different backgrounds, which makes the social experience rich. Beyond academics, there are opportunities to join student groups, events, and activities that make the environment lively and interactive.

Of course, like many Nigerian institutions, there can be challenges such as occasional class overcrowding or delays, but overall, the positives outweigh the negatives.

This institution is truly a place of learning and value. I studied Mass Communication there and it helped shape my perspective on the course. The lecturers there are truly amazing, as they take their time to explain each topic and ensure everything is understood by the students. The environment was also conducive and made the learning process much easier.
Overall, the institution is worth the hype.

I’ve been in this school for the past two years, it’s one of the best polytechnics in the whole Africa, and their fees are doable… I’d give it a 4star.

During my ND days..it was tough tho but the only advice I would give y’all is, make sure you have enough before enrolling Into school.
