MY IMSU REVIEW

My time at Imo State University, Owerri, where I studied Physics/Education, was both enriching and transformative. The program gave me a solid foundation in core physics principles while also equipping me with the pedagogical skills needed to effectively communicate knowledge. Beyond academics, I gained critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills through classroom engagements, research projects, and collaborative learning experiences. Studying in IMSU also exposed me to a diverse community of students and lecturers, which broadened my perspective and strengthened my ability to adapt, communicate, and work in teams. Overall, the experience shaped not only my academic growth but also my personal development, preparing me for both professional and real-world challenges.
I had a little bit of challenges understanding Prof. Mgbenu’s Nuclear Physics lectures. I loved Dr. Chineke. Mr. Ezike wasn’t too sound for me. The teacher who stood out for me was one Mr. Faraday, who took us on physics preps during my year one. He made me fall in love with physics. Although he wasn’t an IMSU lecturer, but his tutorial classes was always packed because he knew the subject matter.
