The University was a former college of education before it was turned into a university. Since then it has seen significant progress both in infrastructure and educational policies. It has become one of the most sort after universities in Rivers state which wouldn’t be the case of their wasn’t any progress. What I really like about the school is the fact that it accepts all cultural background and ethnicities. It accords all students equal opportunities in competing for what ever position they may want to do long as they are qualified. It also has a solid educational background as the school is blessed with several professors and is rooted firmly in the teaching of education. The only dislike I can think of is the increase in fees which would be because of the drastic decline in the economy. I would wholeheartedly advise undergraduates to school there .
