My honest opinion on Federal University of Technology Minna Niger State, Nigeria.

Environmental assessment: The school environment is neat and well organized.

Like: The admission processes are very simple and easy. Mostly the admission is based on merit score unlike popular belief in Nigeria educational system that would allow candidates to lobby for admission in other university or by knowing someone influential within the school system to work it out, theirs is based on merit and qualification. Largely any application within the school line is admitted.

Moreso, the academy performance and discipline is no match to others as they make sure anyone studying in the school must meet up with the CGPA.

Dislike: the none practical lectures and too much of theories is not a good approach in preparing students for the future labour force.

Also, students are overwhelmed with so many courses that are not relevant to their Field of studies.

Solution: the should be more practical application of lectures and less theories. And the course load should be based on digitized field of study.
