My time at the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA), was transformative. Initially, my focus was solely on passing courses and achieving good grades. However, as I progressed, my mindset shifted. I began to read and learn for personal growth, rather than just exam preparation.
I was fortunate to have exceptional lecturers who not only taught academics but also shared real-world insights and encouraged critical thinking. Our discussions often went beyond the curriculum, addressing global issues and life’s complexities.
While it’s true that not everything can be learned in a classroom, my experience sparked a desire to explore and learn more. The rigorous problem-solving exercises, particularly in mathematics, significantly enhanced my analytical skills.
Although I wasn’t the top student, the knowledge and fulfillment I gained are invaluable. I’ve come to realize that academic grades don’t solely define one’s capabilities. I’m equipped with skills and confidence, ready to tackle challenges.
If given the choice, I would choose FUTMINNA again. The experience was truly enriching, and I’m grateful for the growth and knowledge acquired.
