Federal University Lokoja is a school that pushes you to be serious with your studies. I like the quiet environment and the fact that most lecturers actually teach and expect you to work. What I don’t like is the stress around accommodation and the frequent power issues, which sometimes make studying harder than it should be. I would recommend better hostels, more reliable electricity, and improved internet access to make academic life easier for students.

I would recommend the university because it is a conducive space for learning, the lecturers are dedicated, I can say we have one of the best library in the state, and also there is a good relationship between students and lecturers

Studying History and International Relations at Federal University Lokoja was an enlightening experience. The program offered a rich blend of theoretical knowledge and real-world relevance. From colonial African history to contemporary international diplomacy, I gained a deep understanding of how the past shapes global politics today. The lecturers were knowledgeable and approachable, often going beyond the syllabus to challenge our critical thinking.

While the department could benefit from more updated materials and access to international research tools, the supportive academic environment and opportunity for personal growth were outstanding. Overall, it prepared me not just academically, but also with soft skills like negotiation, public speaking, and research that are essential in today’s world.

Well I will like to appreciate this opportunity given to express my experiences during my undergraduate days as a student of Federal University Lokoja in the discipline of Mathematical Science.

I got the best Lecturer’s, Professor’s, most especially Prof. Ibrahim Musa Adeku the Head of the Department who has made not only Mathematics an interesting course to study but reflect a fatherly love towards I and my course mates entirely.

To future student who have a keen interest in studying Mathematical Science as a discipline, be rest assured to be a solution provider to the society problems and also a critical mindset.
