

To restore the dignity of man- that’s the motto of my alma mater. I guess we never really did understand why or what that meant. I spent 5 years in UNN and attended all 4 Campuses. I graduated from the College of Medicine as a Physiologist and one thing I learnt was how to be resourceful. I typically had to learn many things myself because our classes were combined in college till my 3rd year.
I still wouldn’t trade it, because it groomed me. Gave me friends turned family. Built the Lion spirit in me. I am actually a Super Lioness! Campus life was sweet since I lived off campus. I had nice lecturers and the ones that were just nasty. Apart from the archaic teaching methods sometimes, it was a time worthy experience. Plus, I didn’t come out a dumbass!
My university is a good citadel of learning with good and qualified lecturers, but a university of its status, living conditions in some hostels doesn’t really speak well of it, then some practical equipments are no where to be found when needed despite students paying for these

On the contrary, you might be faced with challenges as you would have little time to assimilate a lot with the whole stress that makes you feel like quitting. In all, it’s an experience, a good one to some and bad to others. To me, it’s all good. It has helped shape me to be great.

The accommodations are not really in good shape, the amenities are not really up to par, and frequently, the prospect of going to class is particularly deterring owing to crowded lecture halls. Things are not becoming any worse because of the teachers. Actually, my program offers excellent professional opportunities.
