It’s instructive to note that it is host to the first school of journalism (now Mass Communication Department) in the whole black Africa. And that’s one thing I treasure about this citadel of learning. And one more thing, a graduate of the University of Nigeria is naturally ahead of the others.
View moreUNN is a very good option when considering a federal university in Nigeria. It has and is located in a good environment that is conducive for learning. They also offer a variety of courses that cater to different career needs. The lecturers are also quite experienced and capable. The downside I can think of is that the number of students admitted far surpasses the resources provided to accommodate their needs. Other than that, I will highly recommend.
