This is one of the best public universities in the country if you don’t mind the little struggles (because which school does not have them?). Their engineering and medical programmes are good, however, having studied abroad, I came to understand that they were outdated especially the engineering program I did. My professors however were top and great at passing on knowledge. I liked that my campus (Nsukka) was away from the city and so fewer distractions and some sort of serenity came with it. The student hostels were so horrible however they were a safer option to the off campus accommodation. Relatively more expensive than other public schools in the country but it’s good value for your money.

I’ve had a really good time thus far. It’s a really good school, top 10 in the country if I’m not mistaken. A remarkable institution of learning. The facilities and equipment required for my program are top-notch. Professors there are the best. I loved it there.

The University of Nigeria is without a doubt a really good federal university. The engineering workshops are in good condition although they need a little refurbishing. The classrooms are spacious enough for the students.
