Edo State University offers a solid academic experience with well-structured programmes and supportive lecturers. It feels more like a moderately priced private university due to the quality of its facilities and teaching, and I would recommend it to students who value a focused learning environment.
However, the accommodation is a major drawback. Hostel living conditions need significant improvement, and because staying on campus is compulsory, students don’t really have alternatives. With better management and upgraded hostels, the overall student experience would be greatly enhanced.
Edo State University offers a conducive campus environment, and the lecturers are dedicated and teach effectively. The only downside is that undergraduate students are not allowed to live off-campus. However, postgraduate students have the freedom to stay outside campus.
The university promotes a vibrant student life with various extracurricular activities, including sports. We even have a student-organized football league, where students come together to have fun, connect, and build lasting friendships.
