My school, University of Benin or uniben for short is a great institution with many years of producing fine leaders. While the success of these students may be seen as an indication of the schools comprehensive teaching pattern and curriculum, that may not be the case. You see, alot of the successful ex students of the school do not excel in the field they studied and this raises the question, how exactly does uniben facilitate students growth?
You see from experience, uniben has a great teaching strategy but there’s more to it. The courses, curriculum, lecturers, systems and environment (especially the sun during hot weather) all play a role in building not just the brains but the character, fitness, endurance, persistence and even survivability of the students. With a lot of flaws in the system, a lost of unnecessary courses add for reasons I do not know, extremely unfriendly tutors and the daily stress of being under the sun’s ruthless gaze the core criteria required to become a leader is innately instilled in all of her subjects; the students.
So is uniben great for its methods and facilities or is it great for the general knowledge as regarding life the environment and conditions imprint in it’s students? You know the answer.
