Initially, the university is a prestigious one with great impact. During my period of study, I had the opportunity to be the best of myself and excel to greater heights.
Also, the form of lecturing was easygoing and interesting.
However, one of the flaws that was apparently difficult to put up with, was the constant strike action from the staffs. It affected my academic journey drastically.
I had an overall positive experience at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, though like any institution, there were areas for improvement. The campus is lively, with a mix of academic and social activities. I particularly appreciated the emphasis on languages, which aligned with my course in Modern European Languages. The professors were generally supportive and approachable, with a few standing out for their teaching methods and passion for the subject.
However, I did feel that administrative processes and infrastructure could use improvement. At times, there was a lack of timely communication, and certain facilities were not as well-maintained as I would have hoped.
Despite these drawbacks, I would still recommend the university to those interested in cultural studies and languages, as the faculty in these areas is passionate and committed to student success. The sense of community and the chance to explore various interests both inside and outside the classroom made it a valuable experience for me.
