My time at the Federal University of Technology Akure has been both enriching and impactful. I appreciate the strong academic programs, my lecturers, dedicated faculty, and opportunities for practical learning, which helped me develop valuable skills and knowledge. I also enjoyed the vibrant campus life and the chance to collaborate with diverse peers. One challenge, however, was the occasional lack of adequate resources in some departments, which sometimes made learning more difficult. Overall, I would highly recommend FUTA to anyone seeking a rigorous, skill-oriented education that prepares you for real-world challenges.

The biochemistry course is a challenging yet rewarding experience that provides a fundamental understanding of the chemical processes within living organisms. While it has its strengths, such as interdisciplinary connections and practical applications, it also has weaknesses, including a steep learning curve and high volume of complex information. Overall, I’d rate the biochemistry course 4.2/5, acknowledging its value in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, but also recognizing the need for improvements, such as incorporating more hands-on experiences and real-world examples.
