Student review [#47596] for Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting
at The University of Auckland

The University of Auckland (UoA) has always been my dream university to attend in New Zealand. It is one of the top rated universities in our country and after attending one year I have come to understand why. The level of effort and aesthetic UoA has provided in the learning spaces is incredible. The campus is always clean, maintained and it is always upgraded to the latest technology and appliances. The quality of education is sufficient. They provide many resources, and lots of help when it comes to our study, and lecturers put in lots of effort in our mental health and our student-lecturer relationship. Not just that, UoA has provided me lots of opportunities to meet with many companies like the big four accounting firms in New Zealand I otherwise would never be able to meet in a casual meet up. However, if it is something they need to improve on is work placements. Even though, we do have many opportunities to interact with companies, we still do not have the guaranteed work placements which is a downside, as many other universities do so. Nevertheless, studying in UoA has given me a great college experience, and I can’t wait to see what my next two years bring at UoA brings to me.
