Is a great school to attend with great values
They have camps all over the country so if you don’t like to be in the capital city you’ll find plenty campus to patent
They have all kind of degrees
They are very focused on the personal development also in sports
I totally recommend this University. Not only is one of the most recognized institutes in the region; it is a great place to learn, grow and built meaningful friendships due to it’s friendly environment and the core values of the University.
The only thing that I would improve is its location; because is in the middle of the Industrial zone of the region, so there are not to many places you can go to, after classes.
Other than that – La Salle is a great University!
The ULSA Laguna has a model of integral and human education that is concerned with all spheres of the individual, both students and their entire community (teachers, administrative staff and students' families). As Alma Mater has taught me that values are the foundation for applying knowledge responsibly and that it is an attitude of service that impels us to propose solutions to the problems in the society to which we belong. Since its trajectory as ISCYTAC, this university is one of the pioneers in the region and remains one of the favorites for the lagoons. Over the last few years, it has had impressive growth in infrastructure, teaching staff and extracurricular activities, which is reflected in greater diversity for the student community, as well as cultural, spiritual and academic wealth.
It has a decent academic level, however, they perform questionable practices like the approach in religion, that although it has a catholic base, in some classes the bible / religion was handled like "humanities" when the education should be secular. On the other hand it seems that they focused more on promotion and publicity than on improving the academic level as such.
I studied my bachelor in Communications and graduated in 2011. The professors and personnel were always helpful. I made great friends and really liked the campus.
I heard that the whole university has gone through some major changes since I graduated, but my overall experience 6 years ago was great.
The university is growing more both in facilities and in the number of students, which will lead to a new and larger campus with better location, since the current one is not ideal. It offers excellent programs to make exchanges to different parts of the world and its teachers have experience in the field that they are developed. There are different cultural, sports, recreational, academic and human development activities for students and teachers. Located at the junction between the two states (Durango and Coahuila) which facilitates the access of people who come from both to study. Extremely warm and friendly people, ready to support each of the students.
La Salle offers a very diverse environment, with many sports and cultural activities for its students. The academic level is good although they have been sacrificing to teachers with extensive experience, In the lagoon is the best educational option at the undergraduate level that is economically accessible.
The University has a good academic level in certain courses that started with the University, I would like to encourage more the language as compulsory subjects, since I believe that at the level of Bachelor's degree all students should graduate with a certain level. The facilities are not very large and I do not like the area where the University is located.
