UVM has pretty great installations and management, specifically in my city, Hermosillo. Sometimes they can be a little slow, specifically when it comes to things like internet and scheduling. The classes are pretty good, I wouldn’t say they’re the best the country has that may be relegated to other institutions, both private and public. But they do their job pretty well, and if you’re really searching for a private university within Hermosillo to go to that doesn’t create a black hole for your money to go to, UVM is perfect for you.
There are certain sites like Blackboard that has some pretty poor design, specifically with UI and general state it is in. While it isn’t impossible to navigate through, it struggles with basic things that even a simple forum can handle.
Any other negatives I can’t seem to find since the installations are great, they all have air and kept clean. There are some exceptions, specifically with certain bathrooms and classes that have malfunctioning air conditioning, clogged toilets and/or unstable electricity. But those are few and far between, so far I can only know about two bathrooms with those issues and around 5 classrooms all the way in the back.
