The university is a good mix of traditional learning experiences (such as in class debates, projects, and seminars) as well as cutting edge technology. The university strives to better itself, and as an alumni, it’s always very interesting to see what’s new when I come back.
View moreTec de Monterrey (Campus Puebla) offers a unique college experience, blending diverse recreational activities with academic opportunities that encourage students to explore their chosen fields and beyond. The campus fosters a vibrant community, motivating students to engage in events and activities that promote learning and enjoyment.
However, from my personal experience as an International Relations student, the School of Social Sciences shows limited interest in supporting academic research and lacks investment in events that could allow students to explore the research aspects of their majors. This gap, reduces opportunities for collaboration with peers studying related fields like economics, law, and public transformation, which could enhance interdisciplinary connections and enrich our academic experience.
Overall, the classes are enjoyable due to the quality of the experienced teachers they hire, the student life is full of great opportunities. However, as a social sciences student, you’ll need to put in additional effort to explore your major in depth, going beyond what is covered in the classroom.
