I learned many different things, not only academically but about life. It changed and structured the way I think and am as a person right now. However, I studied Literature and Hispanic languages, and human degrees tend to be overall very overlooked.
I struggled a lot with processes, with registration semester over semester which can be a little disapointing from one of the best universities of the country.
As well, my school in particular, was very abandoned by the system in all parameters. Facilities, studies programs, teachers, innovation, etc.

The degree in Hispanic Language and Literature within the UNAM FES Acatlán has a broad domain of the areas of linguistics and literature. It gives students a very complete vision of the Hispanic and universal literary phenomenon, as well as the various areas of linguistics.

The architectural spaces in the facilities are extremely interesting, they are founded on brutalist principles, but together with the emerging nature, they result in a fortunate atmosphere.
The language center and scholarships are good opportunities to take advantage of and the atmosphere, in general, is pleasant. The only disadvantage is the food, the high price of which is in no way justified.

The study programs are quite enjoyable and useful on the long term. However, the quality of the facilities, and some professors harassing students are part of the dark side of this institution. Also, the directors and people that command this university enjoy many privileges and protect professors that had harassed students, both psychologically and sexually.

It is a good institution to study at as long as you are a machine. If you are a human with human rights, prepare to suffer from discrimination, sexual harassment, poverty, poor facilities and almost non helpful programs
