I love that this university supported me to participate in a semester exchange program. This opportunity changed my life.
But would love to see my university improve in the administration areas. All the processes seem old and inefficient.
I think that learning experiences should evolve, most of my classes were based on ancient schemes.

The IPN is a technical university, mathematics and physics are its pillar. The problem comes when teachers insist on having their students compete against each other; they don’t care about learning, but rather that there are some outstanding students. The workload is unhealthy, they never worry about your mental health, and they even make fun of you if you mention that you feel tired.
Along these same lines, they make fun of the humanities and feel superior for knowing, or half knowing, mathematics.
The facilities are very old, the buildings vibrate when heavy cars pass by. It’s not the best school.

During my stay at the institute, especially at the Higher School of Engineering and Architecture (ESIA), and based especially on my experience, I can say the following: This institution prepares you for life in general.

From its facilities, the institute has the necessary equipment to train you professionally in the area that one wants to specialize in, each school has its pros and cons like any faculty, there are very old buildings and recently built buildings as well as the equipment, without However, it is not an impediment to successfully completing your studies.

I liked my university, I spent 4 and a half years to finish my bachelor’s degree in computer system engineering at Instituto politécnico nacional.

The title is based on my experience, the university has a lot of bachelor’s degrees and a lot of building divided by the field of study.

I think the university is kind because there are alot of options to save your studies if you are not getting good degrees, and even if you need a rest for a year the university is available to take a time off and you don’t lose your place in the university.

For computer science field in my specific university (ESCOM) you can do more activities aside from studies, like robotics club, algorithm club, dance club, art club, improvisation club and more athletic clubs like volleyball, basketball and others.

On the bad side, I think the knowledge the teachers give you are sometimes outdated so, when you finish your studies you may need to learn more in order to get a job (but sometimes here in Mexico is well known that ESCOM student have a very good qualifications to learn and improve the company products). The positive side, is that, they gives you a very good background so it’s easy to learn new technologies.
