    From a Dual Degree Graduate

As someone who completed two degrees at Universidad Anáhuac, I can confidently say that it was a transformative experience, both academically and professionally. The university is deeply committed to forming leaders, not just employees. From day one, you’re guided to think like a business owner, a decision-maker, and a changemaker.

One of the things I appreciated most was how Anáhuac emphasizes values, entrepreneurship, and leadership. In my case, as well as that of many family members and friends who also studied there, the majority of us went on to start our ventures or secure successful roles in top organizations. The alumni network is strong, and the university’s name carries weight in many industries.

The academic programs that have been around for a while are particularly solid. Faculties like Business, Law, Medicine, Communication, Design, Architecture, Engineering — and especially Tourism and Gastronomy — offer a high standard of education, strong industry connections, and excellent job placement opportunities after graduation. In my experience, the Tourism and Gastronomy faculty in particular combines technical mastery with a deep understanding of hospitality and leadership, preparing students to stand out in a highly competitive field.

That said, like any large institution, it has some areas to improve. In very popular programs, the personalized attention can occasionally get lost, and students might feel more like a number than an individual. It’s not the general rule, but it can happen depending on the size and maturity of the program.

Also, while the university is innovative in launching new degrees, some of the newer programs may face sustainability challenges if enrollment is low, which, in rare cases, has led to certain degrees being discontinued. This can understandably put students in a difficult position.

Still, I highly recommend Universidad Anáhuac — especially for well-established degrees. The university offers a strong foundation in leadership, entrepreneurship, and values, and it’s a place that truly encourages you to build your future on your terms.
