As a student at Middlesex University Mauritius, I’m impressed by the high quality of education and the vibrant student life. The academic programs are well-structured and taught by knowledgeable faculty, making for a robust learning experience. However, the housing options are quite expensive, although they offer good value for the money considering their quality and proximity to the university. Despite the housing being nice and well-maintained, the cost can be a bit of a strain on the budget. One challenge I’ve faced as an international student is the language barrier. Many locals speak French, and not being fluent in it makes it difficult to connect with them or find job opportunities. This has been a bit of a hurdle in both social interactions and the job market.
