High cost of living
I’m a student at Middlesex University Mauritius and have mixed feelings about my experience. On the positive side, the university has excellent resources, a modern library, and dedicated lecturers who provide great support and feedback. The academic programs are well-structured and challenging. However, I’m disappointed with the high cost of living in Mauritius. The housing is extremely expensive, and public transport is also costly. This has made it difficult for me to budget and enjoy my university life. Additionally, I find that there’s less engagement in student life compared to other universities I’ve seen. while I appreciate the academic aspects, I wish the university would provide more support for students’ living costs and encourage more student activities.
