The campus at Xiamen University Malaysia is very diverse, with many students from the CIS, the Middle East, as well as Chinese and Malaysians. Because of this, campus life is full of different cultures, and even the cafeterias reflect that variety. Most professors are either visiting from China or local Malaysians, so the teaching style often follows the Chinese system. The classes are okay, not too strong, not too weak. The hardest part is dealing with administrative offices, since their working hours are limited and processes can be slow. Overall, it’s fine, and I would rate my experience 6 out of 10.
