Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman is a decent universiti that offers a variety of courses, as a student of the Marketing program, I can only give it a 3 out of 5 stars due to the fact that classes were meandering and tiring to follow. Professors range from being genuinely engaging and helpful to biased and sloppy depending on your luck.
Campus life is decent, due to most of the town inhabitants being university students, most of the surrounding area is catered to students and this makes everything very convenient.
View moreThis university is superb. The lecturers are rather prepared to teach and are supportive. The scenery of Kampar campus is superb. Excellent halal and non-halal food around. I have enjoyed my study as well as my internship.
View moreMost of the facilities provided by the university is adequate. Some facilities such as the computers lab and the entire computer science faculty appears to be a little under funded while Business faculty are provided with many more amenities. Overall decent quality but not much to complain about.
View moreI like UTAR a lot as it provides certification with great quality. I have learned and studied a lot of subjects that are useful in the course that I chose, and I am pretty sure that I will have the chance to apply it in my future working environment. The lecturers in the university are knowledgeable enough to provide assistance to students with their patience. UTAR is definitely the best choice that I have made.
View moreBesides studying, the university encourages students to develop their soft skills such as critical thinking, complex problem solving and communication skills. The university provides a lot of activities and talks to the students to participate in. These are good opportunity to develop ourselves and be better prepared for challenges.
