Classes are regularly cancelled by lecturers,this results to alot of modules of courses uncovered by the end of the semester. It keeps students under pressure to cover those modules on the own through research,this affects learning strategies of students.

My experience at the University of Malawi has been truly inspiring. The classes were intellectually stimulating, blending theory with practical applications that prepared me for the professional world. What stood out most were the professors, who were not only knowledgeable but also approachable and passionate about helping students succeed. Their mentorship and constructive feedback motivated me to aim higher academically.

The campus life was equally vibrant, filled with opportunities for leadership, networking, and personal growth through student associations and social events. I particularly appreciated how the university fosters a sense of community and collaboration among students from diverse backgrounds.

While the university could enhance its digital infrastructure and streamline some administrative processes, its commitment to academic excellence and character formation remains outstanding.

I would highly recommend the University of Malawi to any student who values quality education, mentorship, and a supportive learning environment.

It’s one of the best public universities in Malawi it has the best lecturers as well. I like the University for it was also my dream university. My experiment has been amazing. The problem with the University is accommodation that’s all. There are so many students but few hostels to occupy us all
