During my studies at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM) at the Institute for Social Work and Social Policy, I learned a lot about human rights, sustainable development, and the challenges social systems face. Through classes, cultural exchanges, training, and discussions, I got a better understanding of how social policies help create fair societies.
The university gave me a strong base of knowledge and also encouraged hands-on learning through research projects, fieldwork, and working with professionals. I especially appreciated how the university focused on active citizenship, social justice, and involving communities in making change. This helped me see how people and institutions can work together for social and economic development.
Studying at UKIM motivated me to come up with new ideas for improving democracy, protecting equal rights, and making positive changes in society. I’m thankful for the experience and the chance to work with dedicated professors and classmates who all wanted to make a difference.
