Our society is constantly changing, thus it is challenging us to step out of our comfort zone, take actions and make a change in our community. Nowadays, students have the chance to do that through an entrepreneurship degree.
Entrepreneurship degrees are designed to develop students’ leadership skills, as well as technical skills, in order to prepare them to start their own business. Candidates learn what it takes to start a new business, starting with networking until selling their idea.
Unlike a business degree, which focuses more on technical information, entrepreneurship is the ‘creative’ part. This degree emphasises the concepts and ideas behind a business while understanding its environment and major bottlenecks.
Graduating from an Entrepreneurship course has plenty of positive aspects. Undoubtedly, the most important one is the students’ mindset. Entrepreneurs are proactive and willing to take initiative, which is valued in this rapidly growing market.
Graduates from entrepreneurship degrees are highly sought for their knowledge and transferable skills, which makes them one of the most significant players in the business field all around the world.
Generally, graduates either start their own company or they seek opportunities in other businesses in fields like production, retail, marketing, human resources, finances and so on.
Entrepreneurship courses are a three-year commitment, in which you need to complete a certain amount of credits to be able to complete your studies. The number of credits required varies from university to university.
Moreover, there are some institutions in which entrepreneurship is required to be studied together with another minor course. The minor course, often called the ‘flexible’ course can be chosen from any other discipline area within the university.
It was one of the best decisions I have made. It is extremely valuable in terms of opportunities and network. It’s not for those who expect things to drop in their laps by themselves but rather for doers who need guidance.
View moreI really liked teaching process there, this university showed me that studying can be an interesting process. The location of university is beautiful, in the heart of vilnius, after lectures you can go for a walk in mesmerising old town. University don’t have canteen, but still give options like whole “Caffeine” just for students of ISM (it is chain of cafes in Lithuania), near the university we have Lidl and many small cafes or restaurants where you can go for a dinner. Also we have like students lounge zone where you can have your lunch or just can study, small rooms there for studying that you can book and sit there just by yourself. The building is new so all auditoriums are new and after renovation of building it looks like the most modest uni in Lithuania. To sum up they have good atmosphere really friendly and good international community !
View moreFrom my opinion, ISM is the best choice for people who want to study business in Lithuania. They provide plethora of different bachelor’s courses, great professors from all around the world, partnerships with many great universities outside of Lithuania and great exchange programs. I think I made the best choice for myself, by choosing ISM university.
View moreI know you might read this cliche sentence many times in many reviews but I mean it when I say it was my best decision to join this university. The premises are so modern, the professors have very high proficiency in English, there are many career fairs and other networking opportunities and you get to dive right into the reality of business and management.
Plus, my course is the top thing in my eyes about my university. Unlike any other programs, it offers a more immersive and interactive learning experience. I study Entrepreneurship and Innovation. We are taught to be different, sought different and also think different.
