Studying International Business Management at Vilnius University has honestly been one of the most meaningful experiences of my academic journey. When I first arrived, I was a little nervous about starting a new chapter, but the welcoming atmosphere quickly made me feel at home. There is something special about walking through the historic university courtyards while knowing you are part of one of the oldest and most respected institutions in the region.
The programme itself feels thoughtfully designed. It doesn’t just teach business theories from textbooks, it helps you understand how they actually work in real life. Through case studies, group projects, presentations, and discussions, I learned how to think critically, work in a team, and express my ideas confidently. The professors are knowledgeable but also approachable; they encourage independent thinking and always connect lessons to current global business trends. It never feels outdated or purely theoretical.
Living in Vilnius adds even more value to the experience. The city is safe, student-friendly, and relatively affordable compared to many other European capitals. University accommodation is comfortable and convenient, and dorm life makes it easy to build friendships with both local and international students. Over time, classmates become close friends, and the multicultural environment broadens your perspective beyond business.
The facilities support both academic focus and social life. Libraries provide quiet spaces when you need concentration, while modern study areas are perfect for teamwork. Student organizations and university events create opportunities to grow outside the classroom as well.
Looking back, what I appreciate most is how much I have grown, not only academically, but personally. This programme gave me confidence, practical skills, international exposure, and a strong foundation for my future career. For me, it has been more than just a degree; it has been a transformative experience.
