Most reputable university in Latvia. Professors are professionals in their field. Great assistance from administration. Close by dorms. Written assignments are a bit overwhelming. Abundance of outside curriculum activities.

I appreciated the high-quality facilities and knowledgeable professors.
The administrative processes can sometimes be slow and confusing.
Yes, I would recommend it to students seeking a career-focused education in medicine or health sciences.
Overall, I like studying at RSU.
I think there could be more internships during studies. It would be good if at least a two-week internship followed after each or almost every clinical-theoretical cycle.
I don’t like the fact that in some departments the overall grade for the cycle is reduced if a class is missed, despite the justified reason for the class absence and the desire to make up the missed class; sometimes making up is not even possible.
University staff was always sweet, respectful and understanding. Most of the professors were supportive, professional and polite. The only unpleasant thing I can remember is that main campus’ canteen closed way too early 😀 also a shoutout to the best professor Sergejs Kruks, who supported me through multiple academic works. Forever grateful.
