Student review [#24336] for Entomology and Parasitology
at University of Eldoret

The course was to some extent not as expected especially in the first year. I did not expect to have a physics unit in the course but we did it in the first year in both semesters. The units that I expected we would study, were studied in the third and fourth years. What I liked the most about the course was how few we were compared to other courses around the school, the cool environment and weather around the school, and the very calm coursemates and lecturers who were patient with the students. What I did not like were the accommodations criteria that were used to offer us accommodations. If that gets to be improved, the University will be way better, according to me. The student life there was peaceful and would recommend the school to people with introverted personalities. The school’s level of internationality is intermediate as not so many international students were present. I feel that my career prospects are high as we are few people who have done that course and thus the market for the course is not as crowded. The four years of my study opened my eyes to a wide array of different people with different personalities and gave me an experience of how to well handle them. I would summarize my experience at the University of Eldoret as a wonderful one given that it well suited my personality.
