USIU – Africa, located within the Nairobi suburbs along USIU road is a private international university that offers diverse programs and opportunities for all it’s students. The institution not only offers world class education to take you places as the motto suggests, it also provides formultiole co-curricular activities that provide for the growth and development of the whole person.
The lectures are well planned, with provision for students to select their classes and plan their schedule in a very convenient manner. The student capacity per class is very ideal for proper interaction between the instructor and the students and the timetable makes allowance for adequate consultation with said instructors. This can be done by appointment or on a walk-in basis subject to knowledge of the instructor’s office hours.
Class programs allow for student flexibility, either full-time students or on a part-time basis which enables students to also pursue a professional life while studying.
There are a variety of active sports with adequate equipment available. Scholarships on the same are also available and this has also seen multiple teams excel in competitions both locally and internationally, widening the scope of opportunities for their students.
In addition, there are also multiple clubs and societies available within the institution that allow for diverse expression and also growth in multiple fields even beyond the student’s academic program.
Finally, the presence of students from across the globe allows for socialization and development of a more global perspective, enabling every student understand how best to adapt to different cultures should they travel beyond their area of convenience.
