    Fantastic Library

The on-campus library, Jomo Kenyatta Memorial Library, is a study haven in the central business District. The staff is spectacular in terms of service to students and other University of Nairobi fraternity members. The librarian is so hospitable and resourceful in knowledge about where to get the books and is just an awesome guide if you are feeling lost. The library boasts all kinds of academic and non-academic reading material arranged in a neat and precise way. It also offers desktop computers that are connected to the internet for students interested in doing research online. the sitting spaces and ambiance in the building are that of productivity and inspiration. The moment you step into this place, you will feel your productivity kick in for sure! I would totally recommend.

    The lecturers

The University of Nairobi is one of the biggest and greatest universities in Kenya and East Africa. Some of the brightest and greatest minds of these areas end up in this university. To be honest, that’s where the glory begins and ends. As a member of the school, I’ve received my share of setbacks; starting with COVID in which I fear out university will never recover from to missing marks and inconsistent lecturers. Since it is a public university, its biggest issue as of now is the lack of sufficient funds from the government, and we the students, are unfortunately the ones suffering from it. That coupled with the management of the school leaves the school lacking. But apart from those issues, the school provides a conducive environment to gain knowledge. The school reviews the programs offered to make sure that each program that a student takes is beneficial to them. My program for exams, journalism, is a program that exists worldwide. I find my lecturers, who are part time media personnel, to be very knowledgeable and approachable which makes it easy for the students to understand. All in all, my university faces challenges just like any other university and year after year manages to produce people worthy of being remembered in history.
