Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology offers a rigorous academic environment, especially in technical and scientific disciplines. I appreciated the depth of the curriculum and the dedication of many lecturers who went the extra mile to support students. The campus is vibrant, with a strong sense of community and plenty of opportunities for extracurricular involvement.
However, there were areas that could be improved—particularly administrative efficiency and access to modern learning resources. At times, communication between departments felt disjointed, which could be frustrating during registration or when seeking academic support.
Overall, I would recommend JKUAT to students who are self-driven and looking for a challenge. The university provides a solid foundation, especially for those pursuing careers in engineering, IT, or agriculture.
