Masinde Muliro University is a premier university in western part of Kenya. It’s among the top ten universities in the country. It’s location lies in a very quiet and serene environment close to the only tropical forest in Kenya that is kakamega forest. It’s been my home for five years in medical school and I can ascertain that it has helped me grow both intellectually and socially. With the diversity of its students, being that it accepts international students, students get to explore culturally with the rest. It recently won awards in Russia in Innovation competition and is doing all it can to ensure it becomes the best university in the country in science and technology. Guided by the motto, University of Choice, we believe that it’s the best choice one can make to be part of this great university.
