My experience at Kirinyaga University was largely positive. The university offers a serene and conducive environment for learning, with a peaceful atmosphere and modern infrastructure. I appreciated the commitment of the lecturers—many of them were knowledgeable, approachable, and passionate about their subjects, which really enhanced the quality of education.

One thing I particularly liked was the practical approach to learning, especially in technical and applied sciences. The university’s focus on innovation and entrepreneurship also stood out, helping students think beyond the classroom. The library and ICT resources were helpful, and over time, I noticed continuous efforts to improve facilities and student services.

However, like many growing institutions, Kirinyaga University faces some challenges. At times, administrative processes could be slow, and some departments still needed better equipment or updated resources. Accommodation, both on and off campus, could also get competitive.
