KeMU is one of the best Universities in Kenya, and I’m talking out of experience as not only do you learn in class, but also the co-curricular activities have made me learn new things that will help me for a very long time. The only problem is that KeMU has so many students that if you do not keep your lectures close and make them your priority, you can have a hard time, but in general, it’s a good School and I would advise people who have the opportunity to join the school, not to let it slide
View moreKenya Methodist University (KeMU) isn’t just a place where you attend lectures and collect a degree — it’s an environment that blends academic rigor with a real sense of community. From the moment you walk through the gates, there’s a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like you belong, whether you’re a first-year student trying to find your way around or a finalist preparing for your last exams.
The lecturers here are not only knowledgeable but genuinely invested in students’ growth. Many go beyond the syllabus — mentoring, offering career advice, and sometimes just being there to listen. The small class sizes in some programs make it easier to interact and ask questions, which is a huge plus.
The campus itself strikes a balance between serene and vibrant. You get the peaceful environment needed for serious study, yet there’s enough activity — clubs, sports, and events — to keep student life engaging. The university also places emphasis on values and character, something you can feel in the way students and staff treat each other.
Of course, like any institution, there’s room for improvement — especially in expanding facilities and modernizing some services — but KeMU’s strengths far outweigh its shortcomings. It’s a place where you don’t just leave with academic knowledge, but also with lifelong friendships, professional networks, and a deeper sense of self.
For anyone looking for an institution that combines quality education, strong values, and a supportive community, Kenya Methodist University is definitely worth considering.
