One of the university’s key strengths is its focus on research and innovation. JKUAT boasts state-of-the-art laboratories and research facilities, encouraging students and faculty alike to engage in cutting-edge research. The university’s commitment to innovation has resulted in several groundbreaking projects and collaborations with leading industries and institutions, providing students with invaluable exposure to real-world problem-solving.
Regrettably, JKUAT has a very rigid administrative structure with most of it’s administrative functions scattered in several departments. You’d have to brace yourself for a walk across several departments for some of the basic administrative enquiries.
There is a rich variety of extra-curricular activities, however, anybody who has ever been to the school football pitches would attest to the ‘not very attractive’ conditions of the playing surfaces- I know that because I am a footballer.
Above all, one thing in the learning sector that would thoroughly annoy you, is the fact that there are too many students for the available lecture venues present, in some of the schools in the campus. Nonetheless, the learning experience is very good.
