Im studying here,at narxoz University already a year,making it to the second year. Im studying at programme called International Relations and my School is SLPP(School of Law&Public Policy). I can definitely say that through all the options in Almaty,Narxoz stands it’s ground with it’s good professors,modern looking campus and definitely a great advertisement!
If you want to apply to Narxoz, admission office will help. Because here,many students from different countries such as: Nigeria, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, South Korea and ext.,made it here with their help!
Me personally,have no problem with my major or the School. Here,lessons are interesting ,holding students attention. Promote both individual and team work during midterms.
Campus life is perfect, Narxoz often does some unique events for us, students. Including concerts, dancing,while cooperating with other Universities in Almaty to make this experience much more fun! Also,if you gonna study Finances,there is a great opportunity to get a second degree abroad by Erasmus programme.
However, unfortunately Erasmus is currently not available for our school or very limited for 1-2 majors. And Student Service Office and Management of Financial Management are often doing their work slowly, with huge queues of students. Problems with websites such as Canvas and Platonus are also damaging reputation of this establishment. In the beginning of 1 and 2 semester those websites often crash or not downloading at all, making registration on courses hard. But the idea that a student can decide professors from the list and the days when class can occur is very good for students.
Overall, this university stands for its quality within this city and i think the whole Central Asian region! If the problems which were described before would be fixed,and combination of not a big price for education,Narxoz would get 5/5 at the rating
