I’m currently studying at ASPU advancing into my second-year. I absolutely love the university and really enjoyed my first year. I had wonderful processors who have taught me coding and mathematical operations. This inspired me to write a code for one of my lectures but making it as precise as possible. It was for my Numerical Analysis course. We were taking a deep and extensive unit where we were trying to find roots of functions as precise as possible. I challenged myself to write a C code (Thanks to my professor, who taught me the basics in my first semester) and make it even more advance to find many decimal points in order it to be exact and not approximated. The campus is quite spacious. Some facilities are old but they are renovating every year and making advancements in expanding majors. I joined a programming code competition and won third place. It was great to use my ability to think outside the box and apply codes to these problems. It all made me fall in love with my major even though I wasn’t convinced at all. The professor has fantastic experience and every one of them have been a delight. I would go back a year to tell my future self that “There is nothing to be worried about, it may have not been your first choice but it is all worth it and you are gonna have a blast.” There is so much flexibility with making my schedule. I was able to make my on -campus courses on Monday and Wednesday and Off-Campus on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. That gave me the opportunity to work on myself and have the chance to do something on the side while studying. I am really grateful for what I have experienced so far and can’t wait to start next week.
