This university was founded as a school for Buddhist monks of the Nishi Hongan-ji denomination in 1639, and became a secularized university in 1876. It has ten faculties and three campuses in Kyoto and Shiga préfecture.
This university is in Kyoto prefecture. You can discover Japanese culture and meet a lot of Japanese and international students. During my student life, I have met a lot of good professors and friends who are from different countries and learnt a lot of what I like. Such this environment allowed me to study in France, to spend wonderful times and to grow in experience for what I wanna do in my future. I recommend you to bring your own object here for living your student life !
