I enrolled in medicine after 3 years of a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in health biology. this is because to work with my previous degree I would have had to do another 5 years of unpaid study … at this point I did medicine directly so then I’m sure I’ll have a job
View moreI studied medicine for 6 years and I fell in love with general surgery thanks to a very helpful professor who helped me with my internship and my thesis by treating me like a daughter. I still feel it today
View moreI studied medicine here after a year of pharmaceutical chemistry because I didn’t get in right away. she was very tough, they say you don’t study in the south but I want to see if they can pass our exams without studying!
View moreGood overall, the organizational structure should be improved. Practical training quality changes drastically from ward to ward. The courses are well rounded, but many courses lack deepening the practical side.
View moreI did my bachelor degree in electrical engineering here, then I moved to a foreign university. This university has a very classical and old-fashioned approach, with not many fresh ideas going around. But this is still ok for the bachelor degree. The basic theory that is taught during the bachelor is very valuable, thanks to a good mathematics department. The quality of the technical subjects taught really depends on the professor: some are really bad, some are really good. It has to be said that the quality of the mathematics teaching had a decreasing trend throughout the years (the Department of EE wanted more graduates per year and pushed the professors to make it easier for the students). This university is lacking research power and connections with companies. The topics treated are mostly old-fashioned, there is no cutting-edge research going on and not much money and energy is invested into research. You don’t have any chance to choose the subjects to study, not even during the masters, and this is really awful. Many of the students are not really interested in the topics and this makes the environment not really interesting for personal development. The internationality is scarce and only some professors have a decent level of English. There is not much student life in connection to the university and the student associations are not very active (except for AIESEC maybe). The city is fun and cheap.
View moreShould definitely focus more on its internationalization! More courses in English for foreign students, especially Master courses! The city itself is beautiful, people are warm-hearted and welcoming, food is just amazing and you can ski/swim pretty much the whole year! Highly suggested to Incoming Erasmus students, especially if they know some basic Italian!
View moreThe university is very good, with very interesting courses and the most important law school of Italy. Also Robotics and physics are very good. The city is awesome for students’ lives. It’ quite cheap and offers a lot of activities and fun.
View moreDuring my Erasmus stay I had the pleasure of having this wonderful city as my destination. My faculty, in particular, was that of Giurisprudenza, very well located about 10 minutes walk from the center of the city.
Although a little rudimentary, the facilities were very nice since the decoration and the architectural style were very old and faithful to the Roman style.
The professionalism and the treatment that the teachers had were excellent, not only they worried about integrating you in the class but they made you feel one more. Without forgetting that many of his subjects were taught in English; thing to be grateful for. And more in these times where languages are vital.
I definitely recommend 100% study at this university
