After a couple of years from my graduation, I believe I will be able to give an overall judgment as complete and objective as possible. From my personal experience, I can say that the Unical faculty of law is not evil from a purely didactic point of view but, like most Italian public universities (or perhaps a little more than the others?), it creates too much detachment with the world of work and, above all, does not offer room for the knowledge of other existing professions in addition to the traditional legal ones.
In any case, the really great points of UniCal are the organization, the classrooms, the small spaces of the classrooms, the maintenance … I don’t go into detail but I assure you that these are all very very very lacking elements! On the other hand, students pay their taxes and deserve to be in decent environments.

I like University of Calabria cause it’s a big campus where every faculty is near to each other, so it’s very easy to confront with people having different professional backgrounds and cultures, since there are a lot of students from different Countries. The campus extends into a large green space, where you can relax after a day of lessons.

I am satisfied with the teachings present within the course of study that I have chosen.
From an organizational point of view, at least as far as the engineering faculty is concerned, there is nothing to complain about.
The life around the university is also beautiful from a fun point of view.

I recommend this university. It’s a amazing campus, with a lot of canteens, international students and a lot of events. Furthermore they have a good connection with international university. It was amazing to study there.

I got my Bachelor Degree at this college and I was enthusiastic with the high quality teachings and the international opportunities. During my studies, I attended one year in Spain with an Erasmus project and the International office was always supportive. Even with the incoming students, the team is always eager to give tips and suggestions to make your experience more enjoyable. So, I highly recommend this college if you are thinking to go on Erasmus.

The Italian university with the largest campus in Italy and excellent quality in terms of studies and lots of scholarships for all good students who do not allow themselves to enter the university for money reasons

It is a fantastic university, with highly prepared professors and full of different degree programs with great future job opportunities. The canteen service is excellent and the university staff are kind.

I did my bachelor at Unical and I found myself quite well, so I decided to stay even for the master’s degree. This university certainly has merits and flaws. There is the possibility of receiving an annual scholarship, which also includes accommodation and meals in the various canteens for both lunch and dinner, but this possibility is restricted to students with an income below a certain threshold and who have an adequate number of credits earned. The university residences are numerous, but they are often assigned much later than the beginning of the courses and lessons. Most of the professors I met proved to be available. I believe that being a university campus is a very positive aspect, in fact, all the different degree courses are concentrated on the “bridge” of the unical, together with studies, research laboratories, etc. …

We haven’t got many laboratories (they’re reserved to the need of the teachers and sometimes we can use them if we’re with the teachers) (Electronics engineering). We have great teachers, and the university is simply fantastic (is the only one in italy that have all the classes spreaded along the same bridge). Also the structures for the foreign students are very well made and all the services are so (library, sport center, formula student, etc…)

Unical is recognized as one of the best universities in Italy, but not only there. Staying in Unical allows you to discover your capabilities, to improve your skills, and to create a perfect link with the world of work.
Studying in Unical is a really good choice, at the moment the best I’ve never made.
