Almost all courses are given by very experienced and human professors, they are really experts in what they are teaching. Exams are usually oral test in Master programs, with lot of group projects involved. I would recommend it for sure.

The university has been improving in the last years, working on some of its weaknesses, such as class organisation, not enough parking spots available, long hours classes.
One thing I liked is the relationship between professor and student: you can request an appointment with a professor anytime and they will personally help you, which has been great for me in so many instances.

Motorvehicle engineering degree:
Teaching quality is decent enough in many (but not all) classes, structures are good, exams are uselessly difficult. It’s more of a question of incompetence in judging what difficulty is actually useful than sheer nastiness.

I studied Vehicle Engineering at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and I can say it was a very positive experience. The professors are highly competent and approachable, with a strong background in both theory and practical applications. The study program is well-structured and thoroughly covers the key topics needed for a career in the automotive field.

One of the most enriching parts of my journey was the experience with the Formula Student team. It was a challenging but incredibly educational project. In addition to applying the technical knowledge learned in class, I gained a lot in terms of teamwork, time management, communication, and other essential soft skills.
