Education based on Italian

As in many universities in Italy, the literature courses of the foreign language studied here are held in Italian. Both the theoretical part of the course is taught in Italian and the novels, stories, etc. in the curriculum. The works are read from their Italian translations. Language courses consist of two parts: “Language Proficiency/Knowledge (conoscenza)” and “Lecturership” (Lettorato). The language proficiency course is a course that aims to explain the grammatical structure of the language over Italian and is based on the grammar-translation method. The lecturer course is given by lecturers whose mother tongue is the language taught (Turkish, Persian, Russian etc.) and complements the other course. This episode takes place in the target language.
