I have done the MSc in Finance, and I am extremely happy with it.

The quality of the education is really good, and has more than prepared me for my job in Asset Management after my studies. There are also a lot of group projects and labs in the classes which lets you try things in practice.

In addition to this, there are a lot of good student associations for finance which allows you to connect with a lot of really brilliant people.

Bocconi offers plenty of opportunities to grow as a person and as a professional. I was able to both broaden my interests and deepen existent knowledge during my Master’s degree in Finance. It’s very challenging, but the result is totally worth it. Bocconi has a very impressive reputation across the world, which allowed me to have an internship at my dream company.

After graduating in Business and Finance at a different university in Milano I decided to search for something a bit different to specialize in. I was recommended Bocconi by someone I respect professionally and I have met in the course of searching for prospects on the job market. I was still very new to the finance sector and knew I needed a better understanding of how things work outside of the textbooks. I came to Bocconi with high expectations, as it is a renowned private university that ranks high in all the business school lists. During my two years there I was exposed to so many opportunities and projects that I had to choose my niche and start chasing my goals immediately. It was the best crash course in actual real experience and hard truths. I would do it again if I had to opportunity.

Being part of Bocconi’s Master of Finance program has been a very enriching and rewarding experience. Especially, the many great and motivated people form a supportive and fun community that made the learning experience very enjoyable. Additionally, the professors are very approachable and supportive and overall, the university offers great networking opportunities. The program is challenging and tough at times, but you gain valuable knowledge and skills which prepare you well for a career in finance.

Bocconi University provides an educational experience that goes beyond the classroom. With its personalized approach, students are able to get the most out of their time at the university. The extracurricular activities on offer help students to develop their interests and passions outside of their studies. All in all, Bocconi is a truly unique place to learn and grow.

Facilities:
Extremely limited and often unpleasant study spots
Gym membership extremely expensive
Associations are not welcoming. Only one team per sport is by far not enough for the demand
Courses
Study material is often chaotic. No proper exercises and answers available for 80% of courses. Exams usually multiple choice testing your ability to memorise the precise wording.
Lectures are not online and some courses even enforce a 75% attendance.
In short, pictures may look nice (which is the sda campus we dont have access too), but it is not. Don’t go
