Studying at the University of Tehran has been a deeply enriching experience, blending tradition with modernity. The campus is massive, with beautiful gardens and historic buildings that tell the story of Iran’s academic heritage. One unique aspect is the strong sense of community—students often gather in the central courtyard to discuss everything from politics to poetry. I’m a literature major, and the access to rare Persian manuscripts in the library has been a dream come true. However, the bureaucratic processes can be frustrating, like waiting hours to get a simple form signed. The political climate also affects campus life; protests and debates are common, and they’ve taught me to think critically about my role in society. Despite the challenges, the passion and resilience of my peers inspire me every day.

Tehran, with its dynamic art scene and vibrant cultural landmarks, was the perfect backdrop for my studies. From the city’s many art galleries to the bustling art markets, particularly along Enghelab Street, there was always something to spark new ideas. However, the administrative processes at times felt slow and bureaucratic, which could be frustrating. Despite these occasional hurdles, the supportive community of fellow artists and professors created a rich, inspiring atmosphere that helped me grow both technically and conceptually.
