I’m currently enrolled in the Management undergraduate program at Universitas Terbuka. Overall, I would say it’s a good choice for those who need flexibility, especially working professionals. The distance learning system allows me to study at my own pace, and the materials are accessible in print, digital format, and through online tutorials.
Some tutors are very responsive and helpful, though the level of support can vary. Since most of the learning is self-directed, it definitely requires strong time management and self-motivation. Student interaction is quite limited, so I joined external study groups to stay connected and motivated.
This program has helped me build a solid understanding of management while continuing to work full-time. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re independent and disciplined, it’s a very practical option.
