Studying at Universitas Padjadjaran was a highlight in my life and a memory I will forever cherish. The friends that I made are a treasure I will keep forever and the lecturers at Sastra Inggris are like second parents to me. They shaped me into the kind, empathetic, and observant person that I am today.
The environment that Universitas Padjadjaran have is a kind one, it helped me with my self confidence a lot, especially since I’ve been teased and bullied for 11 years before I got into Universitas Padjadjaran. I like strolling around during break time since the air in Unpad is so fresh and the surroundings are kept clean.
While I don’t have any complaint about my program or my faculty and the staffs and lecturers in it, I can’t say the same about the rectorate (I took 1 star off for them). The validity of Ijazah and Transkrip Nilai that I received can not be validated and I have to fly to Jatinangor to fix it myself, their help is not online at all. I can not imagine if the person dealing with this is someone with tight budget.
Covid was still high during my graduation and it was the first time Unpad held an online graduation. They promised to send brooch, medallion, and toga to graduates’ home especially those who resides outside of Bandung, yet I did not receive one and had to attend the ceremony of MY graduation without the proper attire. It was not a good experience.
I hope the staffs at rectorate of Universitas Padjadjaran can take their work more seriously and spend less time slacking off. An online help center or an email address that actually REPLY would be a good start.
